Citrix introduced a new entitlement at Microsoft Ignite 2024 for current Citrix customers which enables them to integrate Citrix with an unlimited number of Windows 365 Cloud PCs at no additional cost, provided that they already have the requisite eligible licenses from Microsoft. This enables a broad set of Citrix capabilities, including HDX technologies, Workspace Environment Manager, uberAgent, Secure Private Access, and more on Windows 365.
This new entitlement is an excellent opportunity for Citrix customers to start dipping into the world of Windows 365 and the native integration of Microsoft Intune.
In the blog post Getting Started with Citrix Demo Center I covered the basic setup using the Quick Deploy Wizard for Windows 365 in Citrix DaaS.
To start of clean I`m going to Reprovision my Cloud PC.
From the screenshot below you will see that the user have a Citrix license assigned.
Windows Hello for Business is not supported, so it is important to Disable it in the default configuration.
Once completed. you will see that Citrix VDA has been installed on the Cloud PC.
Head over to Citrix DaaS to verify the creation of a Machine Catalog and Delivery Group.
Click Workspace Configuration and copy your Workspace URL.
Next click the Authentication tab and select Azure Active Directory as the Identity provider.
Click Confirm.
The finally step is to make sure Single Sign On is enabled at the endpoint. Check that the registry key AADSSOEnabled = True exists, if not set it and reboot the endpoint.
Now open Citrix Workspace App and connect.
