Autologon To Windows 7 Not Working

First of all I’m very honored and flattered to have been awarded Citrix Technology Professional (CTP) status. It’s been a dream for years to join this elite club which only contains 48 people worldwide.

Second my new free Citrix XenDesktop 7 Boot Camp has been very well received and I love how fast I now can build Labs, PoCs and Production environments automatically. Even Citrix employees are signing up.

During the creation of this Boot Camp I was seeing a strange issue with XenDesktop 7, StoreFront 2 and Windows 7. After login to StoreFront, when launching the Windows 7 VDI it asked for credentials another time. This did not occur with WS2008R2 / 8 or WS 2012.

The solution is easy, but at the moment there’s no Citrix article describing why or how to resolve it.

Simply disable this policy : Computer Configuration – Policies – Administrative Templates – Windows Components – Remotes Desktop Services – Remote Desktop Session Host – Security – Always prompt for password upon connection

    Can you help me, i have a big problem whit citrix when i try to open citrix reciver in windows 7 is opening for few seconds then close.No error nothing.
    If i use ouick launch it open and all i see is a blue screen.
    In windows xp a get the same problems but not on all pc-s.Some of them are working other are not working
